L 1500 cm2 Front Wing Foil
Available mid July
The L 1500 cm2 front wing from SROKA is ideal for learning to surf and supfoil. It will allow you to fly easily while keeping control of the foil.
Its hydrodynamic profile has been tested in the wind tunnel to give you ease of take-off, a very interesting speed and exceptional control.
This wing and stabilizer were built of pre-preg carbon with matt finishes. This foil has been redesigned with a system that can be completely dismantled with few screws, which makes it easy to store the foil and evolve over time.
It’s the 4X4 wing to do it all, so don’t hesitate any longer!
To better understand the foil and the influence of fin size we can compare the foil with planes. An Airbus A380 (2000 cm2 wing) will have large wings to have a maximum of lift (Ability to launch a very heavy vehicle at low speed) but will be less manoeuvrable than a Rafale which will need more power at the startand will go fasterwith greater manoeuvrability. (1250 cm2 Front wing).
The wing profile, its outline, its wingspan will influence the foil’s performance, not to mention the conditions in which you will practice (wave size and power). Your weight is a factor to be taken into account as well.
L1500 cm2 Front Wing from SROKA has been designed to surf in small conditions. This wing is ideal to start foil practice, it will give you maximum control with lots of lift while guaranteeing a very good speed.
Pratical advices :
The wings before you choose will be of paramount importance to the progress of your sessions. The surface area of the front wing depends on your level of foil experience, your weight, the discipline (sup, surf, windsurf or wake) but also the conditions available to you. This is why it is important to have different wing sizes in your quiver to best adapt to all conditions.
The surface of the front wing, the wing profile, its thickness and outline have a particular importance on the foil’s performance. The larger the surface with thickness in the profile, the more tolerant and faster the surf foil will be and will lift, but the foil will saturate faster in speed. On the other hand, the smaller the wing, the faster and more manoeuvrable the foil will be, but the use will be more technical for the beginner in small waves. For beginners it is advisable to choose the L 1500 cm2 Front Wing and then, with control, you can choose a larger or smaller fin to increase your range of use.
The L 1500 cm2 wing is a versatile wing, it allows beginners to practice foil with ease and allows already expert foilers to have a relatively wide range of use (supfoil, surfoil and wakefoil).
Be careful, with 70 cm of waves we recommend for large jigs (+95 kg), a 1750 cm2 wing and on the other hand for very small jigs (1250 cm2) and for an 80 kg wing, a 1500 cm2 wing.

The foil is not made to go looking for powerful waves that break quickly. It is a way to discover new spots, to go on relatively soft waves and which will allow you to fully exploit the swell train with your foil. Getting in line up with all surfers is totally inadvisable and really doesn’t make sense.
The practice of foiling can become dangerous for you and others if you do not respect certain common sense instructions. Poor control or use on an overcrowded spot can result in cuts or serious injuries.
It is therefore necessary to take all the precautions of use in surfing, sup, wing foil. In this practice, we should not overestimate ourselves.
Start in small conditions with soft waves (-70 cm) and especially do not go in conditions of hollow and powerful waves.
It is important to stay away from surfers, swimmers and obstacles during your sessions.
We recommend the use of a helmet, a protective jacket and a full neoprene suit.
The company SROKA declines all responsibility in the event of an accident involving a SROKA foil. The practice of foiling is the sole responsibility of the user.
