First, take an overall view, check that the paddle appears to be of good overall quality, with no manufacturing defects or even deformations. Next, we&#8217;ll take a look at the most important points to bear in mind. <\/p>\n<h3>Manufacturing materials<\/h3>\n<p>Inflatable paddles are made from PVC, a petroleum derivative with a number of qualities. The first, and most important in our case, is that <b>PVC is 100% airtight<\/b>, allowing for an inflatable structure. <\/p>\n<p>But pvc is a material that can, in certain situations, prove to be rather fragile, which is why the<b>thickness of the different layers<\/b> is extremely important, because in addition to rigidity, they will give the solidity of a SUP.<\/p>\n<p>For example, many SUP products on the market are built with 0.4 or 0.5 mm layers, whereas we have decided to build our paddles with 0.7 mm PVC in the interests of product durability.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n          <\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"image-annotation-text-container image-annotation-text-left\">\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-img\">\n        \n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/srokacompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/03\/Easy-106-Pack-scaled-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-text-container\">\n        <div class=\"image-annotation-text-description\"><h3>Paddle construction<\/h3>\n<p>The thickness of the layers is extremely important, as we&#8217;ve discussed, but <b>the construction and distribution of the thicknesses and welds are also important<\/b> in the quest for a good quality paddle. <\/p>\n<p>For example, we&#8217;ve added three layers of 0.7 mm on the rails, the most sensitive part of the paddle, where you&#8217;ll be paddling and also where you&#8217;ll be putting the SUP. The three layers on the sides also increase the paddle&#8217;s rigidity and therefore its efficiency. <\/p>\n<h3>Handling and comfort<\/h3>\n<p>A stand-up paddle is a slippery item, so it needs to have as little drag as possible to make your rides a success without being excessively tiring.<\/p>\n<p>To achieve this, <b>the paddle needs to be stiff, light and well-built<\/b>. The length-to-width ratio will largely determine your paddle&#8217;s ability to glide. A longer, narrower SUP will slide more but be less maneuverable, while a wider, shorter paddle will be more maneuverable but less slippery.  <\/p>\n<\/div>\n          <\/div>\n<\/div><div class=\"titre-text-cta-container\">\n      <h2 class=\"titre-text-cta-titre sommaire-titles\">Accessories and additional features<\/h2>\n    <div class=\"titre-text-cta-text\"><p>Finally, to perfect your choice of paddle, and estimate the quality of what you have in front of you, <b>linger over the small details that make a top-of-the-range product<\/b> such as..:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">the quality of the paddle&#8217;s accessories (bungee cords, D-rings, handles, storage compartments, etc.)<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">The quality and presence of external components such as the pump, repair kit, leash and carry bag.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In short, you&#8217;re all set to go bargain-hunting and avoid the pitfalls.
