Where in windsurfing, we were always relatively straight, in wing, the very principle of waterstart or kneeling start demands that we&#8217;re not as stiff as our <a href=\"https:\/\/srokacompany.com\/en\/produit\/elite-carbon-mast-14-mm-85-cm-fuselage\/\">elite carbon mast<\/a>. So you&#8217;re going to have to do a bit of stretching, and be generally nicer to your body, and it&#8217;ll pay you back.<\/p>\n<p>For good sessions, you need to be flexible, not least to avoid injury. To help you become as supple as a 13-year-old gymnast, here are a few stretching exercises to be performed as regularly as possible. These exercises are also accompanied by muscle-strengthening exercises to help you become the rock&#8230;Minimum!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n  <\/div>\n\n<div class=\"image-annotation-text-container image-annotation-text-left\">\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-img\">\n        \n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/srokacompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/graphique-muscle-fr.jpg\" alt=\"Comment choisir son stand up paddle\" \/>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-text-container\">\n          <h2 class=\"image-annotation-text-title sommaire-titles\">\n\n        The different muscle groups used in wing foil      <\/h2>\n        <div class=\"image-annotation-text-description\"><h2><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Calves (twins\/soleus) and forelegs: Wingfoil often forces us to stay in very particular positions, among them the crouched position to wait for the wind with a small board can be very painful if you&#8217;re not used to it. You&#8217;ll need to stretch them to improve recovery and absorb the impact of falls. <\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Forearms and biceps and triceps.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Cervical muscles: These hold the head in place, so it&#8217;s imperative to stretch them to avoid injury, but also to strengthen them.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div>\n          <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"image-annotation-text-container image-annotation-text-left\">\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-img\">\n        \n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/srokacompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/squat-floutee-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-text-container\">\n          <h2 class=\"image-annotation-text-title sommaire-titles\">\n\n        Your dynamism.      <\/h2>\n        <div class=\"image-annotation-text-description\"><p>Wingfoiling requires a very special kind of dynamism. Indeed, pumping and, more generally, generating the power needed to pull yourself out of the water requires a dynamic, propulsive effort. <\/p>\n<p>To be dynamic, you&#8217;ll need to work on your explosive fitness.<\/p>\n<h3>1. Before starting the exercises :<\/h3>\n<p>Before embarking on any physical preparation worthy of a world champion, it&#8217;s vital to take certain factors into consideration. Firstly, your general condition, whether it&#8217;s your age, your build or simply your goals. So he&#8217;ll be ready to adapt some of the exercises, simplifying them if necessary. If you&#8217;re new to the type of exercise you&#8217;ll be doing, be sure to follow the instructions for posture and effort.   <\/p>\n<p>Specific physical preparation for wingfoil :<\/p>\n<p>Wingfoil is a fairly all-round sport, so you&#8217;ll need to be in pretty good general shape. We therefore advise you to exercise as regularly as possible, even before embarking on any specific preparation. <\/p>\n<h3>2. Buttocks \/ Quadriceps :<\/h3>\n<p>These two muscle groups are often used together, extending the femur over the pelvis and the tibia and fibula over the femur. In short, leg extension. They will therefore be worked with extension exercises for these segments, for example, the best-known of them all, the squat or the lunge. Once again, the idea is to work on substance, not form: we&#8217;re not here to hypertrophy (make the muscle bigger).     <b>This involves long sets without trying to put on a lot of weight.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>(squat diagram) We&#8217;ll be doing squats with or without extra weight, but always with an eye to dynamism. Scapula fixators :<\/h3>\n<p>The scapular fixators are one of the most important muscle groups in the wing. They hold your shoulders back as the wing pulls you forward. Always with a view to explosiveness rather than hypertrophy (hypertrophy means developing muscle volume), we&#8217;ll perform the exercises with bodyweight or a similar load.  <\/p>\n<p>The diagrams opposite show pull-ups in pronator or supinator grip, as well as rowing and reverse rowing.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n          <\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<div class=\"image-annotation-text-container image-annotation-text-left\">\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-img\">\n        \n    <img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/srokacompany.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/02\/Pompe-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/>\n  <\/div>\n  <div class=\"image-annotation-text-text-container\">\n        <div class=\"image-annotation-text-description\"><h3>3. Here&#8217;s why you should incorporate stretching into your post-workout routine: <\/p>\n<h3>1 Facilitates muscle recovery :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stretching helps reduce the build-up of lactic acid in muscles, which can lead to aches and pains.<\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">By promoting blood circulation, stretching enables essential nutrients to reach muscle tissue, speeding up recovery.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>2.maintains joint mobility :<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\">After training, muscles tend to contract and become stiffer.
