Partir en vacances en van ou en camping-car présente de nombreux avantages, ce qui justifie le succès de cette manière de voyager. La liberté de mouvement en est le premier avantage. Avec une maison sur roues, vous pouvez migrer au gré de vos envies, vous arrêter quand vous le souhaitez, sans dépendre d’itinéraires et d’horaires prédéfinis. Il est possible d’aller où l’on veut, et quand on veut.

Changer de lieux chaque jour, permet de découvrir constamment de nouveaux paysages, et d’être au plus proche de la nature, du matin au soir. Pas besoin de partir à l’autre bout du pays, il est possible de faire quelques dizaines de kilomètres pour redécouvrir sa région. Grâce au van et au camping-car, on s’éloigne de la foule, pour s’évader et se ressourcer dans un environnement naturel. Pas besoin non plus de partir une semaine, un week-end permet déjà de couper du quotidien.

Le voyage devient beaucoup plus spontané et authentique : pas besoin d’avoir réservé des mois à l’avance pour partir en expédition. Dès qu’une occasion s’y prête, on peut se déplacer et s’arrêter à l’endroit idéal pour s’évader, tout ça loin du tourisme de masse.

The ease of transport and storage of the inflatable

Travelling in a motorhome requires you to travel in a minimalist way, favouring the least bulky objects possible. That’s why there’s no need to overload yourself with a heavy, rigid board. In addition to saving you space, choosing an inflatable paddle board will reduce any transport difficulties.

Fold into its bag, it can be easily stored in the trunk of your van. The transport bag for an inflatableSUP is usually in the form of a backpack, sometimes even with wheels, making it easy to carry to the water.

The strength and durability of the inflatable

Traveling with an inflatable board can be a hindrance for fear of damaging it. You should know that a quality inflatable SUP will withstand transport very well and will follow you everywhere, for a few years, without moving. Of course, you have to adopt the right gestures to guarantee the life of your SUP: avoid shocks, store it in your bag, do not leave it in the sun, do not go on rocks, do not jump on the board etc…

As you’d expect, the difference between a rigid inflatable paddle board and an “inflatable mattress” is its construction and the materials used.

The Fusion technology that we use at SROKA is the most reliable for us, which allows us to save on the overall weight of the board (about 2 kg). We use the best Dropstitch and PVC on the market. In addition, three layers of PVC on the rails significantly stiffen the boards. Choosing an inflatable SUP for motorhome travel?

The Easy range from SROKA is the perfect compromise for beginners SUP. For outings, the Easy inflatable paddle pack in 10′ and 10’6 is ideal for discovering this sport. If you are looking for great stability for long-distance hikes, go for the Easy 11’6×32 and the Easy 12’6×32. We’ve designed these packs to be accessible, yet still powerful.
