Pump foil at SROKA: flying without wind, powered by your legs alone

No wind, no swell, no engine. The rhythm of your legs generates lift and the foil carries you. Pump foil is a discipline simple in concept, demanding to master, and that's what makes every session addictive. The dockstart, launching from a dock, is the most accessible entry point to the sport.

Which board to choose for pump foil?

A pump foil board must be short, light and rigid. The lighter it is, the less energy you spend with each stroke. The Pump Board 80 V2 is molded in prepreg carbon and weighs 1.52 kg, making it one of the lightest production boards on the market at equivalent size. Its flat hull and forward rocker make takeoff easy and forgive light touches. It accepts all foils with top plate attachment. Find all our pump foil boards.

Which foil to choose for pumping?

The foil makes the difference in pump foil. Two families, two uses.

For beginners, the High Aspect 2000 wing is the obvious choice. It gets up on foil early, forgives placement mistakes and lets you learn the dockstart without fighting the equipment. It's the wing in the beginner package, and it works perfectly for that.

The Pump Foil range aims for performance. It's for riders who already have foil experience, in wing foil, surf foil or kite:

• 2200 cm²: the most accessible in the range, suited to a beginner coming from foil already, heavier riders and long sessions
• 1750 cm²: the all-rounder, best compromise between lift and glide, still approachable for an experienced rider starting to pump
• 1500 cm²: speed and distance, for advanced pump riders and lighter riders

These wings mount on 70 or 85 cm S-Foil mast, with 56 fuselage and 180 stabilizer. A short mast makes first launches easier, a long mast forgives touchdowns better. All our pump foil front wings are interchangeable with the S-Foil range.

Should you buy a complete foil or separate components?

The complete Pump Foil 1500-2200 guarantees compatibility between the front wing, mast, fuselage and stabilizer, at the best price. It includes the wing of your choice, the 70 cm mast as standard (85 cm as an option), the 56 fuselage, the 180 stabilizer, the top plate, the bag and the hardware. If you already own an S-Foil mast, the board and wings are available individually and mount directly on it. The entire system is modular: you change front wings without changing your foil as your level progresses.

Beginner package or performance package?

Starting from scratch: the Beginner Pump Foil Package combines the Pump Board 80 V2 and the HA 2000 foil, from €1,299. Already experienced with foil: the Performance Pump Foil Package pairs the same board with an aluminum foil fitted with the Pump Foil wing of your choice (1500, 1750 or 2200), a short 61 cm fuselage and a 140 HA stabilizer, from €1,600. In both cases, you save compared to separate purchases, and the foil evolves with you.

How to get started with dockstart?
