A parawing or pocket wing is a compact, bladderless wing, inherited from paragliding, that stores in a backpack and deploys in seconds for downwind, upwind, freeride, or surf foiling.

A 5 m² covers the 10-22 knot range for an intermediate rider, a 4 m² is used above 16-27 knots when the wind picks up, a 3 m² between 25 and 35+ knots for an 80 kg rider with a mid-length board.
