The 2-piece paddle offers superior rigidity and better power transmission to the foil, ideal for committed sessions and high-performance riders. The 3-piece collapsible version is preferred for transport and travel, with no significant compromise on paddling quality.

In downwind, every stroke counts to catch the swell and trigger the take-off. A 50% carbon paddle offers the right balance between lightness, stiffness, and cushioning, reducing fatigue over long distances while efficiently transferring power.

The fuselage is the backbone of your foil: it determines the distance between the front and rear wings, and therefore longitudinal stability and responsiveness. In downwind, a long fuselage promotes stability and glide, which is essential for connecting bumps over long distances.

The mast is available in 55, 70, 80, and 90 cm. For downwind, an 80 to 90 cm mast is recommended: it absorbs chop better, offers a greater safety margin during touchdowns, and helps maintain stable flight in irregular swell.

Not legally required in all areas, but highly recommended. When downwinding, you move away from the shore and falls can be violent. The impact vest pro offers shock protection while ensuring complete freedom of movement, an essential safety/performance compromise for safe offshore navigation.
