Going on holiday in a van or motorhome offers numerous advantages, which explains the popularity of this way of traveling. The primary benefit is freedom of movement. With a home on wheels, you can travel as you please, stopping whenever you want, without being bound by predetermined routes or schedules. You can go wherever you want, whenever you want.

Changing locations every day allows you to constantly discover new landscapes and be close to nature from morning till night. You don't need to travel to the other side of the country; you can rediscover your own region just a few dozen kilometers away. Thanks to vans and campervans, you can get away from the crowds, escape, and recharge in a natural environment. And you don't need to go away for a week; a weekend is enough to disconnect from everyday life.

Travel becomes much more spontaneous and authentic: there's no need to book months in advance to go on an expedition. As soon as an opportunity arises, you can travel and stop at the ideal place to escape, all far from mass tourism.

The freedom to travel by motorhome

Stand-up paddleboarding (SUP) offers numerous benefits, similar to traveling in a campervan. When you stop near a body of water, inflate your SUP and explore the surroundings from the water. Just like on your van road trip, you can land wherever you like and enjoy a peaceful moment surrounded by nature. Expect to access pristine, secluded, and natural spots that are only accessible from the water.

As you've probably gathered, traveling by campervan or motorhome with an inflatable SUP in the trunk is the perfect combination for recharging in nature and discovering landscapes in a different way. Plus, it will allow you to stay in shape, even while traveling.

    Traveling with an inflatable SUP

The ease of transport and storage of the inflatable

Traveling by campervan requires a minimalist approach, prioritizing the smallest possible items. Therefore, there's no need to burden yourself with a heavy, rigid board. In addition to saving space, choosing an inflatable paddleboard will eliminate any transport difficulties.

Folded into its bag, it fits easily in the trunk of your van. The carrying bag for an inflatable SUP is usually a backpack, sometimes even with wheels, making it easy to transport to the water.

Our SROKA inflatable stand-up paddleboard carrying bags offer ample storage space (149 L volume) while remaining lightweight and durable. The design of these bags allows for quick and easy access and storage of your SUP. You can also pack all your belongings inside, such as your towel, sunscreen, GoPro, etc.

Please note that we offer a Full Pack option for maximum convenience when setting up your SUP with an electric pump. The Full Pack also includes a 50% carbon paddle and a leash. In addition, we offer two- or three-piece collapsible paddles that fit easily into your SUP bag.

The strength and durability of the inflatable

Traveling with an inflatable SUP can be daunting for fear of damaging it. Rest assured, a quality inflatable SUP will withstand transport very well and will accompany you everywhere for several years without any issues. Of course, you must take the right precautions to guarantee the longevity of your SUP: avoid impacts, store it in its bag, don't leave it in the sun, don't go on rocks, don't jump on the board, etc.

As you might expect, what differentiates a rigid inflatable paddle board from an "inflatable mattress" is its construction and the materials used.

The Fusion technology we use at SROKA is, in our opinion, the most reliable, and it also allows us to reduce the overall weight of the board by approximately 2 kg. We use the best Dropstitch and PVC materials on the market. Furthermore, three layers of PVC on the rails significantly stiffen the boards. This design is exclusive to SROKA, offering one of the best glides of any paddleboard on the market while maintaining a robust product. It guarantees the product's longevity, preventing the peeling issues sometimes found in other brands. No worries before, during, or after use – you can travel with complete peace of mind!

Malibu inflatable SUPs are all-around boards, accessible to everyone, perfect for family outings, surfing small waves, or even trying SUP yoga . The Malibu 10' is particularly well-suited to lighter riders (under 80kg), regardless of their skill level or physical abilities. The Malibu 10'6, wider, thicker, and longer, is better suited to larger paddlers.

Thanks to their Fusion Technology construction, Malibu paddles are of high-end quality, with optimal rigidity, to glide effortlessly on the water and above all to make your SUP last over time.

Those who enjoy long paddleboarding excursions can opt for the Alpha range of inflatable paddleboards, which offer speed, performance, and stability. It's an excellent compromise for extended outings, providing superb glide and speed with minimal effort. Alpha models are also constructed using Fusion Technology for optimal durability and gliding comfort.

Complete kit for wingsurfing with an inflatable board from the brand Sroka

If you want to surf waves while having a point of support, opt for an inflatable model like the Waves 9.5 Fusion. By using the paddle as propulsion, you'll be able to glide effortlessly over the waves. Its relatively short shape with a rounded outline allows for smooth turns.

If you're proficient in Stand-Up Paddleboarding and want to glide over the waves with a paddle stroke, we highly recommend SUP-Foiling. This activity will allow you to experience the thrill of foiling for the first time.

SUP foiling equipment has several advantages. First, it's very versatile: with your foil and board, you can practice wing foiling (with a wing in your hands), foiling while towed behind a boat, and more. Secondly, the gear is very easy to transport; in fact, everything can fit in a bag! We designed the SROKA AIR inflatable foil board in 5'3", 6", and 6'4". This board is just as good as rigid boards. Our PVC construction makes them extremely robust while maintaining efficient glide. Furthermore, this board makes transport easy and allows you to travel with ease. It even comes with its own wheeled carrying bag, which can hold a SROKA AIR, a wing, and a foil. Find all the information you need to choose the right SUP foil in this article.
