Collection: Dock boards

We have two types of boards: the pocket 4'0, which is a perfect board for beginners and those looking to improve their skills. It will also allow you to do other activities such as wakefoiling, kitefoiling, or tow-in.

To start, a board that's around 1.20m long is perfect. It will give you a little room to position your feet, even if you're not very precise.

If you're comfortable pumping, we recommend the mini pocket 3'3" which is 97cm long; it offers lightness, pumping efficiency, and rigidity. It will be slightly less forgiving of impacts.

A board around 15L is ideal for pumping with ease. It's perfectly possible to use a 4'2" Superfly foil surfboard with 32L, but pumping will be slightly less efficient. The lower the volume, the more compact and lighter the board.

To start pumping, you need to find a pontoon that isn't too high and has few obstacles so you can run safely without getting your foot caught on a cleat, for example. Rowing pontoons are very low to the water, making it much easier to get going. If you don't have this type of pontoon, start from one in a harbor. If the pontoon is very high, choose a longer mast; if the pontoon is short, choose a shorter mast, which will generate less drag.

If you are comfortable you can start from the beach or even from a ladder to get more depth, you will have to adapt your technique, because you will not be able to run, you will have to launch the foil with a single push on the feet so that it can generate lift.
