The fuselage is the backbone of your foil: it determines the distance between the front and rear wings, and therefore longitudinal stability and responsiveness. In downwind, a long fuselage promotes stability and glide, which is essential for connecting bumps over long distances.

The mast is available in 55, 70, 80, and 90 cm. For downwind, an 80 to 90 cm mast is recommended: it absorbs chop better, offers a greater safety margin during touchdowns, and helps maintain stable flight in irregular swell.
