A pocket wing is a compact wing foil wing, designed to be maneuverable and lightweight. Unlike large surface wings suitable for light winds, the pocket wing excels in windy conditions (from 18–25 knots) and is perfect for experienced riders seeking responsiveness, speed, and intense sensations. Its reduced size also makes it easier to transport and store.

The choice depends on your weight and the available wind. As a general rule: a 2 to 3 m² pocket wing is suitable for experienced riders in strong winds (25 knots and more). A pocket wing is generally not recommended as a beginner's first piece of equipment for wing foiling. Due to its reduced surface area, it requires more technical skill to generate power. We recommend our complete wing foil packs with intermediate-sized wings for beginners, as they are more versatile and forgiving. Once the basics are mastered, the pocket wing becomes a natural and very enjoyable progression.

To fully exploit your pocket wing, combine it with a Sroka S-Foil with a short or medium mast for more stability in gusts, and a compact board, preferably rigid, for optimal responsiveness. Consistency between the wing, foil, and board is key: that's why our Sroka wing foil packs are designed to work in synergy.

The pocket wing thrives in strong and steady winds, ideally between 20 and 35 knots. It is particularly popular in open spots, whether at sea or on lakes, for fast freeride, wave, or freestyle sessions. Avoid overly gusty or weak winds, as they would make navigation difficult with such a small surface area.

After each session, rinse your pocket wing with fresh water to remove salt and sand. Dry it in the shade, never in prolonged direct sunlight. Fold it without forcing the seams or twisting the battens. Store it in its carry bag, away from heat and humidity. Regular maintenance ensures the durability of Sroka materials and maintains the performance of your wing session after session.
