How do I choose between the Classic and High Aspect ranges?

Our two ranges (Classic and High Aspect) have fundamental differences that will influence your practice. First, the overall shape of the fin is different. The High Aspect have a smaller camber, a large wingspan, a thinner profile and a smaller chord. This results in a reduction in drag, and therefore better gliding and pumping efficiency. Let’s take an example: our HA 1190 Lift is slightly faster than our 1750 medium aspect front wing with slightly more lift than a Classic 1500 front wing. The profiles of the High Aspect range are also thinner, especially the Speed. High Aspect profiles are therefore perfect for those looking for pumping efficiency, glide and lift, while those who want greater maneuverability and stability in curves will choose profiles with less aspect ratio.

With a High Aspect front wing underfoot, the efficiency of your pumping will be multiplied; He will never have carried you so far with so little effort! You’ll also rediscover what sliding is all about, and your speed records will fall one after the other.

Be careful not to confuse aspect ratio and profile! You can have very slow high aspect wings because of a thick profile, and a very fast mid or low aspect wing because of a thinner profile.

How do I choose between the Lift range and the Speed range?

The Speed range features sleek fins designed for speed. Their slightly cambered profile is associated with a rather thin leading edge and a small relative thickness. They provide pure sensations of speed and acceleration. On the other hand, they require more technique to take off in light airs than the Lifts. When pumping, they reward light and explosive riders with excellent speed. We recommend this range if you want to practice wing foil, kite foil, wind foil and surf foil.

The Lift range has been developed for versatility. The profiles are more cambered and carry better, at the expense of maximum speed. On the other hand, the Lifts are more forgiving of slowdowns and mistakes in support. Pumping is slower and more powerful. Generally speaking, these kites are perfect for surfing and reconnecting the waves endlessly and for light wing wind conditions. This range is perfect for tall people, and in general all those who want to practice surf foil, wing foil in small wind and wave conditions, but also downwind and wake foil.

Improved weight and stiffness

We’ve made a lot of changes to make our S-Foil stiffer than ever. Its wider frame, lighter mast and improved connection give the whole thing high-flying performance, for a weight approaching a full carbon foil. We have adjusted the angle of incidence of each fin for the perfect balance between technique, glide and power.

Unique front wing profile

Never before had we worked so the profile of a foil front wing. The goal was to offer you everything: easy take-off, ultra-healthy handling, phenomenal glide, ultimate control at high speed. This high aspect front wing takes off from 15 knots of wind for a size of 80 Kg and will never stop accelerating. It will allow you to surf waves of unprecedented power while keeping total control over your foil. For those who like pure race sensations, we recommend the long fuselage (68cm) and a 90cm mast for maximum control. When surfing, the intermediate fuselage and an 80 or 70cm mast depending on the water will be perfectly adapted.

Our S-Foil is built of the finest materials. A high-end, high-performance pre-preg carbon is combined with a T6061 aluminum used in aviation and resistant to the marine environment. Everything is done so that your foil lets your full potential express itself by being hyper rigid.
