Presentation
The main objective of this range of kites is to perform in Pump Foil. Whether dockstart or rockstart, beachstart or any other pumping start, this pump foil front wing will give you an ultra-early and easy take-off.
With every push, this wing will propel you
In dock start, you’ll feel the lift of this Pump Foil right from the start. You’ll be impressed by its glide and lift. At every touch, your kite will propel you forward. You’ll never feel so comfortable pumping a foil. As the entire foil is perfectly stiff, you’ll feel maximum responsiveness and responsiveness in the foil. This wing will give you the best glide on the pump foil market. You’ll be amazed by its performance.
But that’s not all:
In Sup foil or flat start, you’ll find impressive ease of take-off, and you’ll be amazed at how effective it is in very light conditions.
Wing foil: If you’re looking for the ultimate super-light wind soul with an effortless launch, the 1500 will let you fly even without wind. You’ll start early, glide fast and ride well even in 6 knots of wind. Equipped with a Downwind or Middle Lenght board, you’ll be amazed at its potential in light winds.
If you mainly sail on lakes, the Pump Foil 1500 front wing could be your light-weather wing.
Shape
The profile of this pump range is very promising. We have sought to optimize the low pumping range. Its high aspect ratio (13.3 AR) facilitates starts at very low speeds, even at standstill.
The wing outline remains constant on all our models. The center section offers sufficient chord for optimum power at low revs, while the tips are tapered to improve glide and handling. You’ll be able to control your trajectories more easily.
The aspect ratio: this range is designed with an aspect ratio of 13.2 across the entire range, which facilitates glide and lift. Thanks to the tapered ends, you benefit from excellent maneuverability despite the wide span.
Construction: The Pump Foil’s front wings are made of prepreg carbon in part high modulus (HM), with a foam core to ensure rigidity and lightness.
Modularity: all our foils are interchangeable from the start. Make your foil evolve infinitely without having to change the entire foil.
How to choose the right front wing for your Pump Foil?
The 2200 cm2 Pump foil front wing has a 170 cm wingspan and an aspect ratio of 13.2. It’s the weapon for long-distance flying and effortless staying power. We’ve tried to go bigger, but it’s impossible to turn the wing with more span. So we feel that beyond this size, the gain in glide/handling is no longer favorable. But with this winglet, it’s capable of lasting more than 3 hours in the air without any problems.
- In dockstart mode, it’s a wing with a large wingspan, suitable either for heavyweights or for those who want to stay pumped for a long time.
- For beachstarts, this can be a very good choice for starting off with little speed.
- Sup foil and Surf foil are far too big.
- In flat start, it’s an interesting option for beginners.
- Wing foil: she’ll get off to an early start, but your speed will be low. It’s a great way to have fun in no-wind conditions.
The 1750 cm2 Pump foil front wing: This front wing is a real 4X4 for many flyers. The reduction in wingspan to 150 cm with an aspect ratio still at 13.2 makes it a wing that will turn well while having a very good power base. If you’re looking for a single front wing for pumping, this is a great choice.
- In dockstart mode, it’s an ultra-stable, easy-to-handle kite for beginners or for those with a good level who are looking for maneuverability to make beautiful curves. It can handle long distances with little effort.
- For beachstarts, this can be a good choice for easy starts with an average build (70-85 kg).
- In Surf foil, it will allow you to start on just one wave but will be difficult to control.
- In Sup foil, it will allow you to glide over micro swells.
- In flat start, if you weigh less than 70 kg, this wing may be a good option.
- Wing foil: the soul of death in very light winds for heavier sailors.
The Pump foil 1500 cm2 front wing: with a 140 cm wingspan and an aspect ratio of 13’2, this is the perfect wing for those who are light on weight, or looking for maneuverability in the curves. It won’t keep you pumping for hours on end (unless you’re a lightweight (<60 kg)). But its power and Glide will amaze you even at low speeds.
- In dockstart mode, it’s a stable and easy kite for smaller riders. For heavier riders, you’ll need to generate more speed when getting on the board. Curves will be tighter and more radical.
- In beachstart, can be interesting for small sizes.
- In Surf foil, it makes gliding easy for medium-sized riders and effortless ascent to the peak.
- In Sup foil, it will allow you to glide where no one can fly.
- In flat start, if you weigh less than 60 kg, this wing may be a good option.
- Wing foil: This will be the soul of death in very light winds for medium-sized sailors who don’t necessarily sail well in light winds. Even if you’re not equipped with a middle lenght, you’ll find it easy to sail in light winds. It generates more ease than the 1550 UHA, but will go a little slower.
Which Quiver?
- If you’re looking for a unique wing, we recommend the Pump Foil 1750 front wing, an excellent choice for fans of minimalist equipment.
- If you’re looking for all-round equipment, we recommend the Pump Foil 2200 and 1500 cm² front kites. With these two kites, you’ll be able to cover very long distances and carve on swell trains, provided you manage to rockstart or beach start.

FAQ
The High Modulus Carbon (HM) used in our 1500, 1750 and 2200 wings guarantees exceptional rigidity. In pumping foils, every bend in the wing is a loss of energy. Thanks to HM carbon, the wing deforms less under thrust, transmitting almost 100% of your propulsion effort. This is what enables the 2200 cm² to last more than 3 hours in flight.
TheAspect Ratio (or aspect ratio) is decisive in this discipline. SROKA Pump Foil wings have an aspect ratio of 13’2. The profiles are very long and slender) and are the queens of the Pump Foil because they offer :
-
Exceptional glide: they drag less water, requiring less cardio energy to maintain flight. So you can stay in the air longer.
-
Better pumping performance: each leg impulse is better converted into horizontal speed. It’s the ideal choice for breaking distance or flight time records on the flat.
For optimum Dockstart configuration, rigidity is key.
-
The mast: A carbon (or very rigid aluminum) mast 70 cm to 85 cm long is ideal. The height is determined in part by the height of the starting pontoon. The mast avoids touching the water when pumping, yet remains short enough for easy pontoon starts (beach start or low pontoon).
-
Fuselage: A short-to-medium fuselage will boost pumping by increasing cadence (frequency), while a longer fuselage will provide longitudinal stability for beginners, but the foil will be less oscillatory.
Absolutely. Versatility is at the heart of SROKA development . A front kite designed for Pump Foil naturally excels in SUP Foil downwind or Surf Foil in small conditions (soft waves). especially the 1500 PF. Its ability to fly with little energy and reconnect several waves without stopping (the “connecting”) makes it a formidable weapon for days when swell and wind are light. It’s an all-in-one investment for light winds and flat water.
Yes, the Pump Foil 2200 is the most accessible kite for dockstarts or flatstarts, if you’re heavy enough. Its 170 cm wingspan offers reassuring lateral stability and lift at very low speeds. It allows you to learn the pumping gesture without needing a high running speed at the start. However, it does require perfect foot placement to prevent it from dragging you along, especially if you’re light. For medium-sized riders, the 1750 is a better choice.
The 1750 is a “4×4”: it favors lift and ease of flight. The 1500, with its reduced wingspan of 140 cm, is much livelier. It requires a higher pumping frequency, but offers superior maneuverability for carving or for riders weighing less than 70 kg who are looking for pure performance.
Although our kites are ultra-robust, we recommend rinsing with fresh water after each session, especially in salt water. Avoid bumping the leading edge when leaving the pontoon. For storage, use a protective cover to preserve the hydrophobic profile of the carbon and maintain optimum glide.
