Program
The ultimate weapon for the “Light Wind Specialist” The Mid-Length V2 is a high-performance board designed to turn every breath of air into a flying session. Halfway between a race and freeride board, this is the Light Wind Specialist reference for those who refuse to stay on the beach. Its “infinite” glide allows you to reduce the size of your foils while increasing your sailing range. Its new width makes it even more accessible for intermediate riders, guaranteeing total comfort even in rough seas.
Presentation
Standard High-Performance Mid-Length More than just an evolution, the V2 of the Elite LW range embodies our vision of High-Performance Mid-Length. We listened to riders around the world to create a board that combines the hull speed of a downwind gun with the stability needed in rough seas. This hybrid design makes the Sroka V2 Mid-lenght Wing foil board a true Light Wind Specialist, capable of taking off at 6 knots or more while remaining perfectly balanced as you climb back onto the board. Each board comes in its own Elite pack, with a top-of-the-range cover included.
Shape, the Evolution of Balance
-
Optimized width (+1″): We’ve widened the shape by an inch to provide a more stable platform. No more stress of precarious balance in heavy seas, you can concentrate solely on pumping.
-
Outline Stretched: The generous length generates crazy hull speed even before the foil takes effect. This allows you to sail just as early with a smaller foil, or earlier with a larger foil. Your range of use has been increased by over 30% compared to a beginner board. We’ve slightly reduced board lengths on the larger sizes to make the board more maneuverable: more maneuverability, easier to pump in freefly, better carving.
-
Technical, high-performance hull: A slight V at the front to soften the touch and a flat hull for immediate take-off will give you incredible glide and allow you to glide hard for an easy take-off in very light winds. Combined with a generous, refocused volume, you’ll have one of the earliest-starting boards on the market (comparison for identical size and volume).
-
Rear cut-outs: drastically reduce drag for instant “pop” out of the water.
Construction: Full sandwich carbon deck / hull
Sustainability and performance are not negotiable.
-
Maximum responsiveness: An ultra-stiff board that transmits every impulse directly to the foil.
High-quality cover included.
Your board deserves the best protection. Each LW V2 comes with its own 10mm-thick cover, equipped with an Air Vent system, interior pockets and ultra-comfortable carrying straps.

FAQ
The V2 offers a crucial gain in stability thanks to its extra wide thumb. It’s easier to use in rough seas and allows intermediate riders to enjoy mid-length gliding without the balance difficulties of the previous version.
Construction and packaging remain identical on both versions
-
5’4 x 20: For light or expert riders looking for responsiveness, maneuverability and a more freerace-oriented board.
-
5’8 x 21: The ideal compromise for medium-sized builders (70-85kg).
-
6’0 x 22: Comfort and stability for those over 85kg or looking for an optimized start in the light.
-
6’4 x 23: Light Wind’s ultimate weapon for larger riders (95kg+) or those looking for extra stability with an average level of practice.
Yes, its natural glide and enhanced stability make it an excellent transition board for Wing Downwind or SUP Foil in small waves. Bear in mind, however, that a shorter board will require more energy to get going and maintain direction. If you’re a complete beginner, we recommend the DW 7’2, which will be a more interesting compromise for mixed Downwind, Sup foil and Light wind.
Stiffness is the key to the foil. High-Performance Full Sandwich Carbon construction ensures that the board doesn’t flex or twist under you. This allows instant transmission of energy to the foil when pumping, facilitating immediate take-off even in ultra-small winds. This is what differentiates a true Light Wind Specialist from standard boards. On the other hand, the board’s increased stiffness will greatly facilitate transitions and precise, clean changes of direction.
Although very stable for a Mid-Length, the LW V2 range is above all a High-Performance range for skilled to expert riders. However, the 6’4 x 23 (115L), thanks to its increased width, is an excellent option for a rougher rider who wants a durable, high-performance board to make rapid progress in light winds and lakes. The other option would be to opt for the PW range, which is even easier to ride and allows you to make rapid progress without difficulty.
Equipped with a high-performance foil (such as the S-Foil UHA or DW) and a powerful kite, an 80kg sailor can expect to be flying at as little as 6 knots with the 6’0 or 6’4. The V2 is truly the Light Wind Specialist to optimize 100% of your sessions. Ideally, for ultra-light sailing, we advise you to choose a volume larger than your weight (e.g.: for 80 kg, the LW 6’0 with its 90 L will work perfectly, but if you’re looking for ultra-light sailing, we advise you to take the LW 6’4.
