There are two possibilities. You can park in the parking lot (paid from May to September) and walk the rest of the way. It's about a 15-minute walk. Alternatively, a small train runs in the summer to reach the different beaches.

L'étang du Ponant

The advantage of a pond is that it is possible to ride in almost all wind conditions. The best orientations are South-East, South-West, and North-West winds. North winds are not ideal for this pond. Ingril Pond

The dominant wind is from the North-West (Tramontane), but as it's a pond, you can easily ride there with winds from the West, North-East, East, and South-West. It's even possible to go there with a South-East wind, but you need to be vigilant because in these conditions, the wind pushes to the bottom of the pond. As the water level rises at the bottom of the pond, you quickly lose footing, so you need to know how to go upwind if you choose to foil there with a South-East wind.
However, pay attention to the water depth. After a few days of Tramontane, the water level drops and your foil risks hitting the bottom (algae and mud). This is why, for this spot, we recommend equipping yourself with a mast of 65cm or 80cm maximum.
