The DW 8’3 SROKA V2 has been specifically redesigned to redefine the downwind SUP foil experience.
This new version capitalizes on the excellence of the original DW 8’3, while bringing significant improvements in terms of stability, glide and performance.
Thanks to its optimized shape, the DW 8’3 SROKA V2 offers a remarkable gain in stability, despite its reduced width. This reduction in width is not a compromise, but a real breakthrough that provides better glide and increased maneuverability, propelling your downwind sessions to new heights. Its generous volume ensures ultra-easy take-offs, even in the lightest wind and swell conditions, making the board accessible to all riders, from beginner to expert.
With the DW 8’3 SROKA V2, get ready for a smoother, faster and more exhilarating downwind SUP foil experience than ever before.
Shape
The big change is in the hull.
We’ve increased the flatness of the hull to maximize stability, and significantly increased the tail rocker to facilitate pumping and maneuvering in swellss.
The stretched and thin outline with a sharply contoured hull will make it incredibly easy for you to reach the optimal take-off speed
The US rails are more advanced on the DW range, this gives a better distribution of the overall in-flight volume of the board. This provides more balance in the take-off phase, with less displacement on the board. Control will be better in carving with less length in front of the board, in pumping with better front-to-back distribution or in wing downwind. The pressure on the feet will be better distributed for better balance.
Construction
To guarantee the longevity of our products over time, we have chosen a high-quality construction.
3 layers of carbon on the rails for maximum rigidity.
- The deck and hull are covered with 2 layers of 160g of 160g carbon with carbon reinforcement at the US rails.
- 3 layers of carbons on the rails.
- Reinforced Strap Inserts : All strap inserts are securely bonded into PVC blocks for unmatched rigidity and strength.
- Reinforced US rails: US rails are bonded into PVC blocks that extend all the way to the deck, eliminating the polystyrene underneath the housings for added strength when jumping.
- Flat hull with a constant curve and a double concave in front for a quick and efficient take-off.
- Maximizing the volume in the center of the board for the most useful volume.
- The 30 straps inserts allow complete customization of their position according to the practice (the straps position is different for kitefoil and wakefoil or for surfing foil).
- Cover included: All our boards come with a top-of-the-range cover with 10 mm thick foam (top, bottom and blanks) to protect your precious equipment.
The Perfect Combo
The DW is the perfect partner to fully exploit the Elite Carbon Foil with UHA or DW wings.
A good dose of motivation, a good dose of acceleration and you will push all your limits.
Depending on what you want to do, you can choose any of the carbon foils in the HA range. This combo will give you rigidity, control, and responsiveness. These two products will give you an unbelievable Downwind experience, whatever the conditions.
Control your trajectory like never before.
High-quality case included

We’ve increased the hull flatness to increase board stability and make it easier to experience rough water. This flat hull will add stability and glide, helping you to get going early.
When paddling, without any problem, you can do prone with this type of board. You’ll set off early to cover kilometers on a downwind prone.
The DW range was created mainly to practice downwind in all disciplines.
Whether you’re rowing, paddling or using a wing, the DW range has been designed for all disciplines Downwind.
The wing foil downwind will be the easiest of all the disciplines, as the wing will be your engine and will require little effort. With 15-20 knots of wind you can start downwind with a 3.4 m2 wing and a foil around 1260cm2.
If you are looking for maximum stability to start and progress, we recommend using the DW 7’2W which is wider and will give you more stability.
If you want to maximize glide, take the 8’3s, they’ll start earlier and give you more glide.
If you are more experienced, the DW 7’2×20 or the 8’3 x 18’5 will be the most appropriate for your level, except if you are in the 90 kg range, in which case you should opt for the DW 7’2 W or the DW 8’3.
Prone or sup foil Downwind , will require more experience and background in paddling or surffoil. The gait is identical to the oar and/or in prone, the DW 7’2W will make it easier to take off and will require less technique and effort.
On the other hand, the DW 7’2 will be more slippery, more manoeuvrable and will bring more responsiveness and performance. It will be suitable for small people or experienced riders.
We advise you to rinse your equipment well with clean water and not to store it outside or in very hot, very cold or very humid places.
Do not open the pressure relief screw on the DW. It’s a goretex valve. So there’s no need to touch it. But common sense prevails.
Like you wouldn’t leave your phone in direct sunlight in the car. The same goes for your board.
The temperature rises to over 75°C in a car in direct sunlight. For equipment to last a long time, maintain it and avoid subjecting it to heavy shocks or high temperatures.
We provide a high-end cover to protect your favorite board.
This type of board is perfectly suited to the Para wing. In particular, because the low-end power of a para wing is not excellent. So by maximizing the board’s glide, you’ll be able to get away more easily.
Allow 24 hours for order preparation, and one to three working days for delivery in mainland France.
Yes. All foil Sroka wing boards come with a two-year warranty.
For this range, we use the best materials and the best construction on the market (full carbon and PVC carbon sandwich under the pads, with 3 layers of carbon on the rails) so as not to make disposable products, but durable, high-performance ones.
Board and carrying case
With this type of board and a 5-meter Wing, you can take off in 5-6 knots of wind with a foil that glides well for a board weighing 85 kg.
The DW is designed for the resourceful/experienced riders who are looking for an early start.
If you’re just starting out, we advise you to choose another range of wing boards foil more suited to your level (the Sky Rider range).
The 6′ and 6’4 (144 and 155L) inflatable boards are ideal for beginners. Those who want a high-performance board to take with them wherever they go will opt for the 5’3 (120L).
To start winging foil, you need a board with volume and, above all, a little width. Don’t overestimate yourself. For those weighing less than 70kg, you can opt for the 5’5 or 5’4 Sky Rider 90L. From 70 to 80, 5’7 or 5’8. Otherwise 6’0 or 6’3.
