The program of this 930 UHA is the same as its big sister (the 1100 UHA) but it will need a little more wind and waves to exploit its full potential.

Shape
Front wing: With a wingspan far greater than an 1190 S HA, a surface area of 930 cm² and a thinner profile, this 930 is the weapon for overtaking everyone on the spot from 12 to 15 knots of wind. Beyond 15 knots, look no further than foil if you want to dominate the spot in downwind or freefly. His ability to go upwind is incredible.
Wingtips: the tips have been refined to reduce disturbance and increase manoeuvrability. But that’s not all: to further increase foil ‘s handling and pumping efficiency, we’ve added flex to the last 20 centimetres. This considerably increases the pumping efficiency of a wing.
– Stabilizer: All our stabilizers will work with this foil UHA. However, to optimize glide, we recommend using the 240 or 180. A larger stabilizer (the 240) will bring more ease and stability and power bottom in very light wind, but will reduce glide by foil. With the 180, you can unbridle the foil at full speed.
Settings: For an 80 kg weight, +1° to 1.5° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° and + in downwind in 180.
The take-off speed for a good 80 kg glider is 10 knots of horizontal speed.
What is the objective?
Downwind, the 930 UHA becomes a fin for experienced riders. You enter a new dimension: high speed downwind. Rowing takes off at between 8 and 10 knots of horizontal speed. After take-off, the foil accelerates without limit to reach a very high average speed.
In wing freefly, it’s just magic. It glides like an 1190 S, but 15% faster than the 950 S HA. Acceleration is lightning-fast and very intense. Upwind lift is phenomenal, so you can get back down to freefly in no time. The Vmax is approaching 27-28 knots.
It works very well with the 240 stabilizer which will restabilize the foil in the longitudinal axis and restrain the foil a little. The 180 stabilizer will accelerate the foil even more. It will have to be set between +1° and +2° depending on your weight, your level and your discipline.
