The Wind Foil 2020 has been designed using the finest carbon and aluminium materials. Developed with a new free-ride front wing profile that is super fast and efficient for its 1000 cm2 of surface area. The rear fin has been worked to provide excellent stability. Our wings are 100% Carbon Pre-preg with no foam inside for perfect performance and strength. The mast is made of 60-micron anodized aluminum for maximum rigidity, and the fuselage is made of one-piece aluminum cut directly from solid. The 1000 cm2 front wing allows you to take off very early in light winds (6 knots), offering excellent speed with possible peaks of over 25 knots, combining the joy of light wind with the thrill of intense runs in a unique profile. The mast is available in two sizes: 85cm and 100cm.

Foiling is no longer a luxury

We have developed the W-foil 2020 by combining performance and accessibility to remain true to our approach of democratizing foil.

We have selected the best carbon and aluminium materials for this Windfoil and developed a new free-ride front wing profile that is super fast and efficient despite its 1000 cm2 of surface area. For more control, we worked on the rear fin so that it provides excellent stability. Our wings are 100% Carbon Pre-preg, with no foam inside, to guarantee exceptional rigidity and strength. The mast is made of T6061 aluminium with 60 micron anodisation to ensure the best possible rigidity for this material. Finally, the fuselage is made of single-block aluminium, i.e. cut directly from the mass to guarantee as much rigidity as possible on this highly stressed element of the hydrofoil. We have particularly worked on reducing water drag to optimize the performance of this Windfoil.

We chose a 1000 cm2 front wing because it is a surface that allows us to take off very early and in little wind (6 knots) while offering excellent speed. The winglets are attached to the underside of the fuselage with three stainless steel screws, for a flawless hold at foil high speed. The mast is fitted into an insert that conforms to its shape and is fixed with 3 large screws (M8).

Very easy, fast, ultra stable!

To develop this wing profile, we tested many wings on the market and made different prototypes with a clearly defined objective: to increase stability at low and high speeds. Each fin has been tested in hydrodynamic simulation to optimize performance. We’ve completely redesigned the stabilizer to provide better longitudinal and lateral stability. We were very pleasantly surprised by the speed performance of the W-Foil 2020, which will leave no one indifferent.

We carried out tests with novice practitioners at foil. With the right settings, from the second tack they started to fly over the water.

This W-Foil remains scalable with different sizes of wings, mast but also different possible constructions. The SROKA W-Foil is the best value for money on the market.
