SROKA 800 UHA: Tame the Speed, Explore the Infinite.
The 800 UHA is :
- 2x more glide than the HA range.
- Exceptional low-end power.
- 10-15% greater speed than the HA range (same size).
- A 30% gain in windward ascent (same size and level, same equipment).
This new 800 UHA is a weapon for gliding hard and far at full speed. You’ll need to master your trajectories to get the most out of this new range, and in particular this little 800 wing. With more wingspan than an 1190 S for the 800 and more than a 950 HA for the 700, you’ll glide fast and effortlessly.
Take-off speed for a good 80 kg glider is 8 to 10 knots horizontal speed.
Shape
Front wing: With a much larger wingspan than a 950 S HA, a surface area of 800 cm² and a thinner profile, this 800 is the weapon for overtaking everyone on the spot from 12 to 15 knots of wind. Beyond 15 knots, look no further than foil if you want to dominate the spot in downwind or freefly. His ability to go upwind is incredible.
Wingtips: the tips have been refined to reduce disturbance and increase manoeuvrability. But that’s not all: to further increase foil ‘s handling and pumping efficiency, we’ve added flex to the last 20 centimetres. This considerably increases the pumping efficiency of a wing.
– Stabilizer: The most suitable stabilizer is the 180, which debrides the foil to full speed and maneuverability.
Settings: For an 80 kg weight, +1° to 1.5° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° and + in downwind in 180.
The take-off speed for a good 80 kg glider is 15 knots of horizontal speed.
