The DW 8'3 range was designed to offer an exceptional downwind experience, emphasizing glide, stability, and ease of takeoff, even in the lightest wind and swell conditions. The DW 8'3 V1 Elite is for riders who refuse to head back when conditions weaken. Where most boards require a minimum of wind or swell to foil up, it pushes that limit.

Thanks to its sleek shape and generous volume, it allows all riders, from beginners to advanced, to fully enjoy the unique sensations of SUP foil downwind.

The stretched and refined outline, combined with a hull with sharp contours, makes it easy to reach optimal takeoff speed. The flat hull with its constant curve and double concave forward ensures fast and efficient takeoff, regardless of conditions.

• Volume & balance

Volume is maximized in the center of the board for useful and well-distributed flotation. The US rails, repositioned further forward than on a standard board, improve overall volume distribution in flight — less tipping, less board movement, more balance from the takeoff phase.

• Control & precision

This forward position also reduces board length in front of the feet, improving control during carving. In pumping, the front/rear distribution is optimized; in wing downwind, foot pressure is better balanced. The pin on the tail, combined with bevels, improves direction and water separation — helping with takeoff and reducing deceleration during touch-downs.

To guarantee the longevity of our products, we chose high-quality Full Carbon construction:

• Carbon sandwich under the pads — 3 mm PVC wrapped in 3 layers of carbon on the rails for maximum rigidity
• Deck and hull — 2 layers of 160 g carbon fabric with carbon reinforcement at the US rails
• Reinforced US rails — bonded into PVC blocks extending to the deck, eliminating polystyrene under the boxes for maximum resistance
• Reinforced strap inserts — 30 inserts bonded into PVC blocks for unmatched rigidity and strength; positioning fully customizable according to discipline (kitefoil, wakefoil, surf foil)
• Case included — premium case with 10 mm thick foam (top, bottom, and sides)
