DW Foil Front Wings

The DW SROKA range is built on a simple promise: maximum glide with minimum effort.

Thanks to an extreme Aspect ratio of 14 and High Modulus Carbon Prepreg construction, these front wings deliver exceptional glide efficiency. Pumping engages in conditions where other wings would stall, top speed redefines your relationship with flight, and that sensation of endless glide transforms every session into silent exploration.

Two sizes make up the range — DW 900 and DW 700 - Elite — to meet the demands of advanced to expert riders seeking pure performance.

Warning: This range is optimized for maximum glide, Freefly and Downwind. It is not recommended for Freestyle, jumps, or beginners.

The DW range program is primarily oriented toward endless glide in light to moderate wind. With its Aspect ratio of 14, it delivers Freefly sensations in Wing Foil and lets you exploit even the smallest swell lines in Downwind and SUP Foil. This DW range is designed to glide as long as possible with minimum effort.

• Wing Foil (high performance): Maximize your air time, even in the lightest conditions or with minimal swell. Ideal for Freefly enthusiasts.
• Downwind: Harness the slightest swell power (from 30 cm ripple) and glide for kilometers with minimal effort. It's the reference in modern Downwind foil.
• SUP Foil: An easy and enjoyable experience thanks to optimized lift and endless glide. Ideal for lighter riders or more demanding swell conditions.
• Surf Foil: Speed and Pumping efficiency allow you to carve waves with precision and reconnect sections with stunning ease.
• Parawing Downwind:Get the most out of your traction wing for incredible gliding sessions.

The DW front wing integrates into the complete SROKA foil ecosystem to deliver maximum performance. Precise and rigid setup is essential to transfer all pumping energy directly to the foil. We recommend:

• The Solo HM 16 mm 85 cm Carbon Mast or the Elite HM 14 mm 85 cm Carbon Mast. Both masts guarantee the perfect rigidity essential for energy transfer on ultra-high aspect ratio wings.
• The 140 stabilizer is the ideal partner to optimize all your sessions, especially in Downwind and SUP Foil. It perfectly balances the lift and speed characteristics of the DW range.
• Compatible boards: The DW wing pairs perfectly with SROKA Downwind boards (DW range), SUP Foil boards, as well as performance Wing Foil boards for riders seeking pure speed.
• Wings and Parawings: All our wings and parawings from the FYNIX and Elite ranges are perfectly suited to unleash the gliding potential of the DW range, whether in traditional Wing Foil or Parawing Downwind.

Choosing between the DW 700 and the DW 900 depends mainly on your size, your dominant program and the conditions you navigate most often. Both wings share the same DNA - AR14, Prepreg HM construction, ultra-thin profile - but offer very distinct handling characteristics.

Choose the DW 900 if :

• You're looking for absolute infinite glide and the earliest possible takeoff, even in marginal conditions.
• Your dominant program is Downwind or SUP Foil, where lift takes priority over top speed.
• You navigate mainly in light to moderate wind or in small swell.
• You are a medium to large-sized rider, or a rider who prioritizes pumping efficiency over responsiveness.
• You're looking for excellent upwind capability thanks to a large wingspan.

Choose the DW 700 - Elite if :

• You're looking for maximum top speed and radical carving with surgical connection to the swell.
• Your dominant program is Wing Foil performance or Surf Foil in sustained conditions.
• You navigate mainly in strong wind or in Powerful swell.
• You are an expert rider, rather light, looking for radical sensations and extreme maneuverability despite the wingspan.
• You already own a larger wing (UHA or DW 900) and are looking to complete your quiver for breezy days.

When in doubt, the DW 900 remains the most versatile choice in the DW range, as it retains a lift reserve that is more forgiving than the DW 700.

The choice between the DW range and the UHA range is one of the most frequently asked questions by our riders. Here's how to distinguish them to make the right choice based on your level and expectations.

Compared to the UHA range, the DW wings offer significantly superior flight speed. Your average and maximum speeds will be significantly improved. Plus, thanks to an increased aspect ratio (Aspect Ratio 14 versus 11 for UHAs), upwind capability is considerably optimized, and consequently, so is glide.

You will notice a superior performance gain on all trajectories. Good news: despite their increased performance, the DW wings turn as well as UHAs. However, DW wings are slightly less stable than UHAs on the longitudinal axis, which will require more precision in your stance. They are therefore not intended for beginners, but are aimed at riders who target ultimate performance.

In short:

• UHA range: More accessible, excellent glide, ultra-versatile. The ideal choice to progress and for intermediate to advanced riders who prioritize ease.
• DW range: More technical but ultra-performant. Turns as well as the UHA, but is designed for advanced to expert riders seeking maximum speed and glide.
