The choice comes down to your goal, your weight, your wind and your riding style. Three profiles structure the range: Speed for velocity, Wave for wave carving, Lift for lift and light wind. And the surface logic stays the same: the larger it is, the earlier you take off and glide in light wind; the smaller it is, the more you gain in pure speed and responsiveness.
950 Speed — the medium wind freeride performance
Phenomenal glide, crazy accelerations and early takeoff: with an 80 kg body weight, you foil up from 15 knots. Very manageable despite its high aspect ratio, it offers more lift than smaller Speed wings without losing the speed spirit, and amazing Pumping for its surface. Ideal for medium to heavy body weights or medium wind, in advanced Wing foil and Surf foil, but also in Kite foil, Wind foil and towed in powerful swell. Perfect precision in turns, firm responsiveness, no stall.
1190 Speed — the largest of the Speed wings
1190 cm² surface, 91 cm wingspan, AR 7. Very early takeoff and extended glide: it keeps the performance spirit even when wind drops, with a soft and controlled Vmax around 24 knots. Super efficient Pumping, excellent straight-line stability, easy high-speed moments. Designed for Wing foil and Kite foil in established to light wind, for riders under 90 kg who want accessible performance.
1190 Wave — the wing for committed Wing surf
Same wingspan and profile as the 1190 Speed, but with active flex on the tips. The wing tips deform to create a pivot point: you carve more radically, you hold the turn better, you exit clean and you Pump more easily to reconnect sections. It's the only HA designed for high aspect ratio surfing. For advanced Surf-foilers who want to exploit small and medium waves to the fullest while preserving their endurance and Pumping speed.
1350 Lift — the light wind all-rounder
Large wingspan (110 cm), AR 9, generous lift: very early takeoff from 8 to 10 knots, long-distance glide and ultra-easy Pumping. It's the light and gusty wind wing, for lakes and small swell. Perfect for Intermediate Wing foil riders, Surf foil looking for glide and SUP foil, up to 95 kg. It's also the first recommended Dockstart for riders under 70 kg.
Speed, Wave or Lift: the decision in one line
- You want pure speed and freeride performance → Speed (950 or 1190)
- You want to carve waves → Wave (1190)
- You want early takeoff in light wind, long glide, or you're a heavier rider → Lift (1350)
The right stabilizer
The 180 is the default choice for Speed and Wave profiles: it frees up glide and speed. The 240 and 300 bring more stability and lift, ideal in Lift, light wind, SUP foil and Pumping to get over flat sections.
Simple rule
If you're unsure between two surfaces, pick the larger one if you prioritize early takeoff and light wind, the smaller one if you prioritize speed and responsiveness. And since everything is plug and play on the SROKA base, you can complete your wing quiver over time without buying anything else.
