The 85 cm Mast is considered the most versatile size. It offers enough height to fly over chop and swell without stalling, while remaining extremely maneuverable for Surf foil and maneuvers. It's the ideal compromise between a 75 cm Mast (more beginner or pure Surf foil oriented) and a 95 cm Mast (reserved for speed/Race).

The Solo 16 mm Mast is designed for riders seeking the best accessibility/rigidity ratio. With its 140 layers of carbon including 62% High Modulus (HM M40J), it reduces drag by 20% compared to aluminum. The Elite 14 mm model, even thinner, is aimed at demanding riders seeking absolute top-end speed and minimalist glide at the cost of increased piloting demands.

No. The Mast/Fuselage connection is not the same. However, this kit includes a Solo Fuselage in aeronautical-grade aluminum 6061-T6. It is 100% compatible with the entire range of front wings and stabilizers from Sroka (S-Line, High Aspect, etc.). This modularity allows you to evolve your set-up without changing all your equipment.

You also have the option of a carbon Fuselage.

The advantage of the Solo carbon Mast is its durability. Unlike aluminum, it doesn't fear corrosion. However, we recommend:

1. Rinse everything with fresh water after each session.
2. Disassemble the Fuselage and grease the screws (marine grease or Tef-Gel) every 2 or 3 outings to prevent galvanic corrosion between the stainless steel screws and the aluminum Fuselage.
3. Use the protective covers provided when transporting to avoid scratches on the profile.

High Modulus (HM) Carbon is much more rigid (high elasticity modulus), which prevents the Mast from deforming under load.
