The Mid-Length V2 marks a major evolution in terms of accessibility and stability. Thanks to a gain of one inch in width, this new shape offers significantly superior balance, particularly in rough sea or chop. It allows intermediate-level riders to enjoy the exceptional glide of the Mid-Length without the technical constraints of the previous version. While the Full Sandwich Carbon construction (recognized for its rigidity and lightness) remains identical, the user experience is simplified to maximize the pleasure of flight.

Your choice of Mid-Length V2 depends on your weight, level and sailing program:

• 5'4 x 20: Ideal for lightweight or expert riders. It's the most responsive and maneuverable size, perfect for a Freeride-oriented style and pure glide sensations.Freeride and pure glide sensations.
• 5'8 x 21: The ideal compromise for average builds (70-85 kg). It offers the perfect balance between ease of takeoff and in-flight reactivity.
• 6'0 x 22: Brings comfort and stability to builds over 85 kg or those looking for a Optimized planning departure in very light wind.
• 6'4 x 23 : The ultimate weapon for Extreme Light Wind. It is designed for larger riders (95 kg+) or intermediate-level riders seeking maximum lateral stability without sacrificing Mid-Length glide.

Absolutely! Its natural glide and the stability offered by its flat hull make it an excellent versatile board. It is notably the ideal platform for discovering Parawing : its size is perfect for beginners and progression as it greatly facilitates takeoffs, even with a low-pull wing. It also excels as a transition board for Downwind on Wing or SUP Foil in small waves.

Nevertheless, keep in mind that a shorter board (Mid-Length) requires more Pumping energy and precision to maintain paddling direction than a pure Downwind board. If you are a complete beginner in SUP Foil, we recommend the DW 7'2, which offers a more stable compromise for mixing Downwind, SUP Foil and Light Wind.

Although the Mid-Length V2 range is primarily oriented towards High-Performance for intermediate to expert riders, the 6'4 x 23 (115L) version is an interesting exception.

Thanks to its increased width and its flat Hull, it offers reassuring lateral stability when stationary. This makes it an excellent choice for a practitioner who is already "rough around the edges" (who masters the basics of balance) wishing to invest in a durable and ultra-high-performance board to progress quickly on lakes or in Light wind.

For a complete beginner, we recommend instead orienting yourself towards our classic Wing board range (Sky Rider type). This range will provide you with even more ease at the start and allow you to take your first steps without any technical difficulty. The other option would be to go for the PW range which will provide you with even more ease and allow you to progress quickly without difficulty.

Choosing a Mid-Length Wing Foil board is opting for the perfect compromise between the glide of a Downwind board and the reactivity of a short board. Thanks to its optimized length/width ratio, this shape drastically reduces water drag.
