Longer board that will bring ease to takeoff in light to moderate wind conditions. It works perfectly on flat water or in swell.

The width of the board plays a fundamental role in optimizing foil performance in light conditions. A stiff carbon board will bring responsiveness, reactivity and maneuverability. This is why we developed the Elite range that meets all your most extreme requirements.

Flat Hull with a slight V on the front to facilitate takeoff in Light wind

The flat Hull of the board with a slight V at the front makes takeoff and touch-downs easy and allows rapid acceleration with minimal effort. This Hull maximizes acceleration for effortless takeoff. Biting rails at the back facilitate takeoffs.

Combined with generous and centered volume, you will have one of the boards that takes off the earliest on the market (comparison with identical size and volume).Reduction in LW widths to take off very early.

For a board to take off early, you need to reduce its friction zone with the water. The width of the board is the main factor. So take off up to twice as early with the LW SROKA range. 3 sizes, 3 board widths, 20 – 21 – 22 inches wide. This requires a little practice to master well, but it's a new way to glide with your Foil. Optimize your Light wind sessions or carving in the waves even more. It's a call to absolute freedom using a small Foil under your feet!

Length to glide fast and strong.

We lengthened the board to take off early, glide strong and generate more Lift on your Foil. A short board requires a lot of power at the Foil level to take off. This means having large Front wings. A thin and long board allows you to gain a lot of speed quickly and thus use a much smaller Foil. It is used in Light wind or in waves to carve on the swell with small Foils. 3 board sizes are enough to meet all practitioners: 5'7 – 6'2 and 6'6 for the heavier ones. It can also serve as a Downwind board for smaller riders.

Cut-outs for drag reduction.

The cut-outs are located on the entire back of the board to reduce drag at takeoff or during touch-downs and thus avoid braking when the back of the board touches the water while Pumping, for example. The cut-outs also contribute to exceptional acceleration and ultra-fast takeoff.

What size Light wind foilboard should I choose?

Don't overestimate yourself.

If you weigh less than 75 kg, go for the 5'7 LW unless you're expert.
If you weigh around 85 kg, go for the 6'2 LW
If you weigh more than 95 kg, go for the 6'6 LW.

If you navigate on a lake; don't hesitate to take a size up. Indeed, fresh water carries less than sea water. So if you want to optimize light wind conditions, don't hesitate to take a size up.

What wind strength can you navigate with this type of foilboard?

If you're equipped with the right powerful and high-performance wing in 6m with a foil of 1350cm2 or 1550 cm2, you can expect to start from 6-7 Knots (kts) of constant wind for a 75 kg rider with good Pumping level.

With a smaller foil like 950 HA S or 930 UHA, you'll start around 10 Knots (kts).

Can you do Downwind with this type of foilboard?

With a Wing foil, no problem at all, you can do Downwind with this type of foilboard. This will give you maneuverability and glide to launch on any swell train.

With a Parawing, without hesitation you can do Downwind.

Yes, this type of foilboard can also be suitable for Prone. Since the foilboard is long and narrow, there's great glide that allows you to launch very early on swell trains with the Paddle.

How to maintain your Wing foil foilboard?

We recommend rinsing your equipment thoroughly with fresh water and not storing it outdoors or in very hot, very cold or very humid places. Don't open the decompression valve on LW foilboards. It's a Gore-Tex valve. So no need to touch it. But common sense prevails. As you wouldn't leave your phone in direct sunlight in a car. It's the same with your foilboard. The temperature rises above 75°C in a car in direct sunlight. For equipment to last a long time, maintain it and avoid subjecting it to big impacts or extreme temperatures.
