Security pin for fin – The paddle fin accessory you must not forget

Have you already lost your fin during a paddle session? The SROKA security pin is the paddle fin accessory designed to prevent exactly that.

This SROKA paddle fin accessory solves a simple but frustrating problem: losing your fin during a session. Without a security pin, the fin can slip out of its Slide-In box during an impact against the bottom, a sudden maneuver, or a fall. The pin locks the fin in place — it can no longer come out accidentally.

FAQ

SROKA Company

Which paddles is this safety pin compatible with?

Which paddles is this safety pin compatible with? It is compatible with all SROKA inflatable paddles equipped with a Slide-In box — namely the Malibu and Easy ranges. If your paddle uses a US Box, this is not the safety pin you need — US Box fins are fixed with a standard screw.

How to install the safety pin?

Installation is tool-free and takes just a few seconds. Insert the fin into its Slide-In box to the desired position, then engage the safety pin into the notch provided for this purpose. It keeps the fin locked in place and cannot accidentally come loose during paddling.

Can you paddle without a safety pin?

Technically yes, but it's not recommended. Without a safety pin, the fin can come loose on impact with the bottom or during a sudden maneuver. A lost fin while paddling makes the board very difficult to steer — especially in strong wind. At €9, it's the cheapest insurance for your paddle equipment.
