The foil that lasts. For a long time.
The foil reacts exactly as you expect, for a unique and intense sailing experience.
It’s not enough to have a mast that doesn’t bend. Twisting is fundamental and our draping plan optimizes this aspect. The stiffer the mast and the less twist, the more responsive foil will be underfoot. Each interlocking and accessory has been worked to maintain maximum rigidity and reliability.
The SOLO mast consists of 84 layers of M40J High Modulus carbon fibers, combined with 56 layers of standard carbon fibers, arranged at 0° and 45° to optimize the torsion and bending of the mast.
With the SOLO mast you have one of the foils that best combines reliability and feel for years to come.

FAQ
The 85 cm mast is considered the most versatile size. It offers enough height to fly over chop and swell without stalling, while remaining extremely maneuverable for surfing and maneuvering. It’s the ideal compromise between a 75 cm mast (for beginners or pure surfing) and a 95 cm mast (for speed/race).
The Solo 16 mm mast is designed for riders looking for the best accessibility/stiffness ratio. With 140 layers of carbon, including 62% High Modulus (HM M40J), it reduces drag by 20% compared to aluminum. The Elite 14 mm model, even thinner, is aimed at demanding riders looking for absolute top speed and minimalist glide at the price of a more demanding riding style.
No. The mast/fuselage connection is not the same. However, this pack includes a Solo fuselage in 6061-T6 aeronautical aluminum. It is 100% compatible with the whole range of Sroka front wings and stabilizers (S-Line, High Aspect, etc.). This modularity means you can upgrade your set-up without changing all your equipment.
You can also have a carbon fuselage.
Absolutely. M40J high-modulus fiber is a premium carbon fiber that delivers exceptional torsional rigidity. Unlike standard carbon, it eliminates “fuzziness” in support. You benefit from a direct and instantaneous transmission of your movements to the foil, which is crucial for control at high speed or during jumps.
The advantage of the Solo carbon mast is its durability. Unlike aluminum, it is not susceptible to corrosion. However, we recommend :
-
Rinse with fresh water after each session.
-
Dismantle the fuselage and grease the screws (marine grease or Tef-Gel) every 2 or 3 runs to avoid galvanic corrosion between the stainless steel of the screws and the aluminum of the fuselage.
-
Use the protective covers supplied to prevent scratches on the profile.
The Solo 16mm carbon mast isn’t much lighter. But it does reduce bending by 30% compared to a conventional aluminum mast, and above all it provides more response and responsiveness. Thanks to its specific draping of 140 layers of carbon, 62% of which are HM M40J, it eliminates “fuzziness” in your supports, offering direct transmission of the energy essential for pumping and committed maneuvers.
It’s a question of compromising performance and accessibility.
The 16mm (Solo) offers maximum torsional rigidity with a slightly thicker profile that is more forgiving of placement errors.
The 14mm (Elite) aims for pure speed and minimal drag, but requires finer steering. If you’re looking for an ultra-versatile mast for Wing Foil and Surf Foil without sacrificing strength, the 16mm is the best choice.
High modulus (HM) carbon is much stiffer (high modulus of elasticity), which prevents the mast from deforming under stress. On the other hand, it can be more sensitive to dry shocks (impacts on rocks) than standard carbon. Sroka secures your investment by blending 62% HM M40J fibers with high-strength fibers to maintain excellent impact resilience.
Yes, that’s one of its great assets. The Solo HM 85cm mast is optimized for :
-
Wing Foil: Ideal length for passing swell without “touching”.
-
Surf Foil / SUP Foil: Perfect rigidity for pumping and relaunching.
-
Kite Foil: 16mm thin profile for high speeds.
If you’re a bit careful, your Carbon HM 85 Wing Foil Mast in Solo version can be kept for life. Just don’t drop it from a great height onto concrete. But don’t panic, carbon can be repaired very well if necessary.
