Inflatable or rigid?

Inflatable paddles pack into a bag and travel in the trunk. Hard paddles glide better and don't need inflating, but they have to be transported on the roof.

Inflatable

Packs into a bag and is easy to carry. The higher the range, the more rigid, durable and stable the paddle board is when paddling.

Rigid

More glide and responsiveness, no inflating: ideal for launching from a pontoon, a boat, or for rental. It does not fit in a car trunk: it must be transported on the roof, with a roof rack.

What size for your weight?

Wider means more stable; longer means more glide. At 60 and over, the 10'6 is wider and easier to inflate.

The tandem perfectly meets the requirements

Being able to show the coasts of the Crozon peninsula to my disabled son while rowing as a pair, safely. The paddle cuts through the water, is very stable, and there's plenty of room to seat my son at the front.

Easy 12'6

SUP ordered on Sunday, received by Tuesday. The product offers unbeatable value for money (easy 12'6), much better than big-brand boards, with a design validated by passionate professionals.

The questions we get before buying a paddle board

The team's answers, before you choose your board.

Which inflatable paddle board should I choose as a beginner?

For cruising, look for a round-nose, wide, rectangular board: very stable, very easy, and it turns well. The Easy 10' or 10'6 is the right 4x4 for a first purchase, the Ocean Walker 10'4 is the entry-level option, and the Malibu Fusion is the high-end version, stiffer and more durable.

What paddle board size should I choose based on my weight?

Under 70 kg: a 10'. Between 70 and 100 kg: a 10' or a 10'6. Above 100 kg, a longer and wider board (10'6 to 12'6, 32" wide), and above 100 to 110 kg the Paddle pour tous, 36" wide. At 60 and over, the 10'6 is wider and easier to inflate.

What's the difference between Ocean Walker, Easy and Fusion?

The construction is what changes. The Ocean Walker is single-skin, with 2 layers of PVC on the rails; the Easy has 1.5 layers on top and bottom and 2 on the rails; the Fusion models (Malibu, Alpha) have 2 fused layers without glue, with 3-layer rails. The more material, the stiffer, more durable and more stable the paddle is.

Which paddle board is best for distance?

A long, pointed-nose paddle board: over the same distance, it requires less effort and holds its heading better. The Alpha Fusion in 12'6 and 14' are built for this; the Easy 12'6, a mid-range model, is the more economical option.

Can two people paddle on one board?

Occasionally, yes, on a classic board as long as it's wide: at least a 10'6, or even an 11' or 12', 31" or 32" wide. For regularly paddling together while standing, the Duo is designed for that; the Géant XL and XXL accommodate up to 6, and 8 to 10 people.

Which paddle board should I choose for waves?

The Wave 9'5, with a narrower nose and tail, turns easily and positions well on the wave: 70% wave, 30% cruising, up to 100 kg. The Malibu 10' is more versatile: 30% wave, 70% cruising. For waves, we recommend 5-inch-thick paddle boards.

Inflatable or rigid paddle board: which should I choose?

An inflatable folds into a bag and is easy to carry. A rigid board, like the Comet, offers more glide and responsiveness and requires no inflating, but it won't fit in a car trunk: it's transported on the roof, with a roof rack.

Which paddle board is best for a school or rental business?

A reinforced board: the School 10'3 x 34, very stable even for larger body types, the rigid Comet, which requires no inflating, or the Malibu 10'6 Fusion, also reinforced. For a group sharing the same board, the Géant XL and XXL.

How to choose the right paddle board

A paddle board is first chosen by practice: a relaxed outing, distance, waves or paddling with several people. The nose shape makes the difference: round, wide and rectangular for stability and ease, pointed and longer for glide and distance, slimmer at the front and back for turning on the wave. The full range is in our paddles.

Construction drives the price

The price of a paddle reflects its construction: the more material, the stiffer, more durable and more stable the board is under paddle. It's not just a question of brand. Our inflatable paddle boards range from the Ocean Walker entry-level model to the high-end Fusion, and the guide how to recognize a good-quality stand-up paddle board details what to look for.

And the accessories?

Paddles, leashes, fins, pumps and spare parts are available in our paddle accessories and our paddles. A used paddle board is also a good entry point.

Our paddle boards are designed by Bruno Sroka, triple world kitesurfing and kitefoil champion.
