The 700 UHA is the most radical weapon for breaking records in Downwind. It represents the ultimate kite for downwinding or for those who want to go fast and go up very hard in wingfoil, turn quickly, go up quickly and descend at full speed on limitless swell trains. What will be your limit and your ability to push back what was not yet acceptable to you? This UHA 700 will allow you to discover it. Nevertheless, this range remains very accessible. Soaring like a bird, skimming the crest of the waves at full speed as you effortlessly descend the swell trains, becomes a reality with our UHA (Ultra High Aspect Ratio) range. This range, with a large wingspan, allows you to foil almost without wind and without swell, using all the energy needed in the swell to foil. If you are looking for a kite to go fast in downwind or to downwind in wing, UHA kites have been created for you and they will surprise you with their ease and performance. This range now consists of 5 wing sizes: 700 UHA (700 cm2), 800 UHA (800 cm²), 930 UHA (930 cm²), 1100 UHA (1100 cm²) and 1260 UHA (1260 cm²). It is perfectly suited to the LW and DW board ranges as well as the Superfly. Building on the success of the HA Speed range, we decided to apply the same profile in order to bring the same smoothness to take-off, but with impressive speed performance. It’s impossible to be disappointed with this UHA range: speed, glide and handling are the three words that best characterize it
This wing is characterized by excellent performance in rough conditions.
If you’re downwinding with 25 knots of wind and a strong, powerful and fast swell, this kite will be the right choice.
Easy to take off with a low take-off speed (less than 10 knots), it will allow you to reach really impressive average downwind speeds while having a low rpm power base that will surprise you.
Our Speed HA profile has this reputation: easy but ultra-efficient. Accessibility is really its main feature, coupled with performance that is significantly better than what you’ve tried. Thinning the ends will increase the workability, On this 700 UHA bare have decreased the flex for more control at high speeds. The thin profile will allow you to accelerate quickly and easily.
As its wingspan is not very far from the 800 UHA, its take-off will be very similar.
It’s the ultimate weapon from 15 knots of wind.
It will surprise you with such a high speed that you will be surprised.
Its wingspan will give you a lot of control and an excellent upwind to descend even faster. It embodies the infinite glide in medium to strong wind.
You’ll have increased handling and an incredible power-to-speed ratio.
Crazy speed, even in average conditions.
The 700 UHA is a beast when it comes to performance and the best option for easy sailing with excellent average speed. It was not designed for jumps. So, if you’re looking for a Freestyle range, head over to the HA range.
The 700 UHA is a beast when it comes to performance and the best option for cruising in big conditions.
This is clearly not its strong point. It will require a maximum of horizontal speed to start and will require maximum precision in your support to make the most of this 700 UHA. On the other hand, it will bring you a phenomenal glide.
The UHA range is not made for jumping.
It was made for downwinding and freeflying, dockstarting, surf foiling but it is not suitable for freestyle.
UHA: Ultra High Aspect Ratio
Precision, speed and glide
With its 11’6 aspect ratio and the same profile as the HA range, we have managed to offer you the best of both worlds. A crazy glide with an incredible speed. You’d be surprised at the result regardless of the swell or wind conditions. It hovers for a long time and it hovers very, very fast!
Incomparable gliding sensation
We have used the same profile that has made our HA range so successful.
This profile provides exceptional maximum speeds (Vmax) and averages with little effort.
As soon as you are in the air, you will immediately accelerate to full speed and reach very high speeds effortlessly.
Aluminium and carbon foil
Slim profile
We have refined the tips (tips of the kite) to make it easier to maneuver your foil and discover true waveriding.
Pre-preg Carbon / HM
For this range of kites, we have used high performance carbon with 30% high modulus in order to maximize stiffness where it is needed and make the tips effective in pumping.
Scalability
Our entire product range is interchangeable and allows you to progress and evolve at the pace of your technical level.
This new UHA is a weapon for gliding hard and far with full speed. You will have to master your trajectories to be able to exploit 100% of this new range and in particular this small 800 wing. With more wingspan than a 1190 S for the 800 and more than the 950 HA for the 700, you’ll glide fast effortlessly. The stabilizer 240 and the 180 work. With the 240, the foil will be more stable in the longitudinal axis. With the 180, you unleash the foil at full speed.
Settings: For a size of 80 kg, +1° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° in downwind in 180.
Take-off speed for a size of 80 kg of a good level is 8 to 10 knots of horizontal speed.
With a wingspan much greater than a 1190 S and a surface area of 930 cm² and a thin thickness of the fin, this 930 is the weapon to overtake everyone on the spot with 12 to 15 knots of wind. Above 15 knots of wind, look no further, this is the foil you need if you want to dominate the spot downwind or freefly. His ability to go upwind is incredible.
In the same way as with the 800 UHA, the two stabilizers 240 and the 180 work very well.
With the 240, the foil will be easier and wiser, especially in the longitudinal axis.
With the 180, you unleash the foil at full speed.
Settings: For a size of 80 kg, +1° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° in downwind in 180.
The take-off speed for a size of 80 kg of a good level is 8 to 10 knots of horizontal speed.
The 1100 UHA has the same wingspan as the 1350L HA, but with much less string. In addition, the profile used is not the same. We use a Speed profile and with very little thickness. This 1100 UHA will require more technicality to leave as early as the 1350 in light winds. However, you will gain speed and maneuverability. Imagine the speed of a 1190 S with the lift of a 1350 L. It’s just an unbeatable weapon in light winds.
In downwind with 40 cm of chop, you will hurtle down the slopes without stopping. In freeflying, you will never have found it so simple. Finally, in dockstart with a little starting speed, this kite will amaze you with its liveliness and speed on the water.
Settings: For a size of 80 kg, +1° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° in downwind in 180.
The take-off speed for a size of 80 kg of a good level is 8 knots of horizontal speed.
The 1260 UHA is the lethal weapon for light wind downwind, wing foiling or dockstart and surf foil. With a wingspan of 1179 cm², you will never have flown so early. Dumping will be even easier and faster. The bending of the tips on the last 20 centimeters will allow you to pump more easily while maintaining an exceptional speed. To optimize the downwind rowing take-off, put more angle on the BCD and slide your DW board to acquire the maximum speed before you start flying. This range is not made for beginners.
Settings: For a size of 80 kg, +1° to 1.5° in wing foil in 180 and 1.5° to 2° in downwind in 180.
The take-off speed for a size of 80 kg of a good level is 8 knots (or even less depending on your level) of horizontal speed
Powerful and fast downwinder. The limit will only be the one you give yourself. The take-off will still require a speed between 8 and 10 knots to take off, but once in the air, if the wind pushes sufficiently or the swell train is powerful, there will be no limit.
In wingfoil, from 17 knots of wind, this fin becomes your new wing to go down the swell and up it. Please note that this UHA range is not made for jumping, and we will not guarantee jumps made with this fin. This is not his program.
In tow-in and Surf foil in small conditions or in surf foil in good conditions, it could allow you to reconnect the swells endlessly.
